The Newark Mosaic is produced and edited by Leo Aristimuno, who teaches Media Studies and Video Production in the Department of Arts, Culture, and Media, at Rutgers University in Newark.
The Newark Mosaic will feature original media produced by Leo Aristimuno and production teams that include Rutgers University students, local media professionals, and community members.
The Newark Mosaic also redistributes content that publicly available through video sharing sites like YouTube, Vimeo, and Archive.org.
We welcome submissions of media and suggestions for stories to document. If you’d like to share your Newark story or have great media to share, please follow the Share Your Story link.
We seek works that fit and promote our mission. In general, we select media that reflects the cultural diversity and evolution of Newark, NJ, especially things that are dynamic, visually engaging, and innovative in style. We also want to showcase compelling human interest stories that speak to the resilience and successes of Newark’s people.
